Kreischer Optics, one of the early pioneers in aspheres, is now part of Torrent Photonics, providing the expertise, proprietary processes, and end-to-end integration for exceptionally precise optics.
Aspheres
Torrent Photonics was one of the first to manufacture CNC machine aspheres, adding to our in-house conventional and molding capabilities. We have earned a reputation as a cutting-edge producer of aspheric lenses, capable of achieving geometries most don’t consider possible with our recent addition of 200mm asphere and cylinder manufacturing capabilities. Custom aspheres, spherical optics, and cylinders are manufacturable in standard glass materials as well as IR materials such as chalcogenide, IRG, Mg2F2, and Silicone.
Cylindrical Optics
Torrent uses CNC manufacturing coupled with conventional proprietary methods to produce the highest quality glass cylinders in the market efficiently. With an extensive tooling library, Torrent can reduce total program charges by nearly eliminating almost all tooling charges, and our techniques are conducive to both prototype and production quantities.
Spherical
